Helvellyn Group is delighted to have agreed heads of terms on it’s second renewable fuel production site in the UK.

The new site, due to start construction in January 2020, will produce 96,000 tons of renewable coal replacement fuel for industrial and power generation applications and puts the company on track to achieve 250,000 tons of annual UK production by the start of 2021 and 1.2m tons per year by 2024.

The new forty six thousand square foot facility will be built to Helvellyn’s specification, incorporating a new onsite substation, a solar array, state of the art fire detection and suppression systems and their proprietary renewable fuel production process.

Helvellyn Group manufacture a high energy, low environmental impact solid fuel designed to replace coal without modification to existing fuel handling and combustion equipment.
